Create An Invisible Folder

Have you ever wanted a folder on your computer that no one can find?Follow these steps to make your own invisible folder.

• Right click on the folder you want to make invisible and hit rename. Using Backspace remove the name completely.

• Now with the name field active, hold on the Alt key and press 255 on the Number pad (Make sure Num Key is ON). Release the Alt key.
  

You can now see a folder with a blank name and a folder next to it.

• Now right click on the nameless folder and select Properties.

• Go to customize tab.

• Find and press the Change Icon button. Scroll through the icons till you find one that has no image.

• Hit OK twice.

Now you have an invisible folder!

You can now hide everything you don't want others to see. Let it be the video games at work, your weird photos or almost anything ! The folder will show up for a second if you place it on your desktop. So it is advisable to place it inside another folder or among a group of folders. You can even hide your invisible folder, but will have to un-hide all folders to be able to see it.
